The app sends gentle reminders at selected times—such as morning, afternoon, or bedtime—prompting the elder to simply tap “I’m Okay” to confirm their well-being. Optionally, they can also record a 15-second selfie-mode video or audio clip as part of the check-in.
2. Customizable Frequency
Users or their caregivers can set how often check-ins happen—daily or several times a week—to match personal routines.
3. Alerts & Escalation Process
If a check-in is missed, the app sends a follow-up reminder; if there’s still no response, it automatically notifies the designated kin or emergency contacts. When a check-in is successfully completed, the kin receive a notification along with the optional A/V clip. All missed check-ins are logged, allowing kin to review the elder’s activity over time for ongoing wellness tracking.
